This may Be a stupid post but I have the opportunity to buy a old junked out Toyota camper truck with the dually rear axle. I was wondering if it would be possible to convert my 86 IFS 4x4 pickup to a dually using the rear axle off of this truck? Thinking it would be one bad ass build....

 

With a torch and a welder, anything is possible. Just gotta make sure the gear ratios match, front and back.

The wider track would be a nuisance to me, for everything I use a Toyota 4x4 for.
