Need a 1994-1995 4runner/Pickup ECU

Working on the speedometer on my 4runner from my last thread, the VSS sensor replacement fixed it for about a month, but now it is back to not working. My good friend owns a shop, he told me that more than likely it is the ECU not reporting the speed to the unit. I used another old dash cluster, hooked it to my truck and it did the same thing. All gauges work except the speedometer.

I would like to ask the YotaTech community if anyone has a ECU, Toyota part 89661-3D070? I am having a hard time locating one. Every wrecking yard that lists them online has sold them when I have called.

Appreciate it if anyone has one.

It's likely another failed VSS or the electrical to it. Do the reverse lights work? They are powered on the same circuit. The ECU actually gets its speed input from the speedo. The speedo gets its signal directly from the VSS.

The reverse lights work, maybe I will buy another VSS since the only thing that doesn't work is the speedometer and the miles don't turn without that input. Only the speedometer doesn't work. Thanks for the input, another VSS I can locate, the ECU for my model seems very rare from wrecking yards.

I believe I have one I pulled off my 'for parts' 1995 4runner, V6. I will look to see if I can find it and the part number.
