Tapping sound, rebuilt 92 2.4 22re

This engine was rebuilt recently. Only mod was head ported and polished. Runs great, makes plenty of power (considering it's the 2.4 22re) easily spins some 31x10.5 off road tires. The truck is sort of a prerunner? Getting there I suppose. It has a tapping sound coming from the top middle area of the engine. Lifter and valve cover interference maybe?

Rocker arm tapping against the valve cover. Loosen the nuts, and see if it stops.

Might need to adjust the valves again. If the rocker assembly has a lot of miles, 7/11 cold adjustment works for me.
