Coolant leak from air control valve
I took my 1986 22RE truck in to the shop for an unrelated reason and the mechanic mentioned that coolant is leaking from the idle/auxiliary air control valve (whatever its called).
How can I diagnose and fix this myself?
I looked up parts online and it looks like the IACV got updated in the 1989 models. I'm not sure how I can find ones that would fit my 86 22RE engine.
Should I check my hoses or rebuild my air control valve?

Sure it's not leaking from one of the two hoses to the valve?
I read some where that the older valves were no longer available. Maybe the valve gasket is still available I don't know. If the gasket is not available, you can use a very thin bead of sealant in the gasket grooves to seal it. Would be tricky to get the right amount on it, but should be doable.
If it uses the same hoses as my 92, don't buy the over priced Toyota hoses. That one Toyota hose(Gates 18222) is $40 plus which is ridiculous. I have the Gates part numbers if you need them. None of the auto parts stores list hoses for the valve which is weird.
Amazon says these parts don't fit, but they do fit perfectly. A reviewer says that they fit his 86 too.
