Had to replace the head gasket on an 1989 Toyota 22re engine after it blew. Got the head back from the machine shop and they said it passed the pressure checked, but now I'm seeing the exhaust valve on cylinder #2 is stuck open (mostly). I already put the head on, intake and exhaust manifolds, and torqued the head bolts to spec. How worried should I be about the valve? It doesn't seem to be colliding with a piston. Maybe the valve is just gummed up and oil and pressure and heat will release it? Do I really have to tear down the head again to fix the valve?
Here's a video of what it's doing:
