Best way to transport a mini truck bed?

Hello all,

Looking at picking up a replacement fiberglass bed for my 1984 Toyota 4WD.

Has anyone transported one of these in a full size truck bed before?

I am debating whether to rent a full size truck vs renting a cube van [16foot] which may be overkill.

It should fit on an open trailer fairly easily.

I'm trying to avoid renting a trailer as I would prefer to rent a vehicle instead.

Is this a new bed in a crate for shipping ??

Just the bare Naked Bed

Get the dimensions then figure out the amount of space you need .

Myself I would say trailer .

This was a used bed.

Didn't feel like getting a trailer for the 4Runner for a 6 hour trip so I rented a flat bed pickup from Home Depot for a day.

Was easy as the rear had a tray with sides that fold down.

Thanks for the tips.
