After, not the greatest but I figured I would give it a shot, had trouble getting the letters all clean but it will look good at 60! Lol

Definitely looks a lot better, nice work. Does the top layer of plastic just pop right off? And you only cleaned the letters, no paint or anything? I've got the gold 4Runner emblems that I'm looking to restore

I guess I could’ve been a little more specific but yes the plastic piece just pops off but be easy on it because you don’t want to break it in half because they’re held in there was some sort of double-sided tape. And when I cleaned it yeah I cleaned all the old paint or whatever they use from the factory out of it so when you’re done it looks like just a piece of clear plastic no color no paint no nothing and I repainted the plastic and glued them back together
