I blew the head gasket on my gas engine, found parts for stock diesel of same year (yes Toyota sold a few of these in the states between 84-87), paid a buddy to do the swap.
Purpose was to run Straight Vegetable Oil, not particularly a fan of diesel (sure is hard to find a small diesel mechanics on the west coast). So I got her going at last, have the 2L in there and most parts to make it the desired 2LT. However, I just had a baby and need to let it go, along with the diesel fueling station with remaining tubs of clean veggie oil. Want to find a good home for it locally, hoped maybe someone on this site would have the ability to make the most out of it. Not an off-road machine, but a great little beast that has treated me right for years. I've run both diesel & svo, got the second tank and valves to switch while running but haven't hooked it up. Wanting 5K for the truck, fueling station, service manual, filtration & titration kits, veg oil, and spare parts.
