Talking AFM Swap work with this part from Autozone?

Hello,

I have a 1987 4runner I completely rebuilt and even after that I wasn't impressed with the performance. I knew it was going to be slow but to keep up with the rest of the crowd on the road looking to do few things to help it. I first wanted to start with a new AFM swap.

I am well aware the AFM swap with part numbers Supra AFM part no. 22250-43110 / 197100-3020 will work. However these are hot ticket items and rarely can be found on ebay if at all. Does anyone know if you can use the autozone reman part #74-20028 it says it fits on auzone website for the 1982 toyota supra but I have never once seen anyone use this route or list this part number on any forum and I've searched them for hours. The reviews of making this modifaction seem highly appraised want to get this upgrade in the truck. Does anyone know first hand if you can use the autozone part or do you need to find one from the junk yard matching 22250-43110 / 197100-3020.

Thank You!
I hope someone can enlighten me.

If it says reman it should work !!

Since this is a reman just how much is the core charge ??

Since only a limited amount of these were ever made.

Building one of these engines is very expensive per horse power gained.

These engines build horse power in the head

With this swap your increasing the incoming air !!

Have you increased the valves to use the extra air ??

Cam to work in the rpm range you want

Added the 2.25 " exhaust from manifold to the end of the tail pipe

Much cheaper and better results doing a 3.4 swap
