I replaced my fuel pump and missed placed a hose
My 94 Toyota had a bad fuel pump, when I dropped to tank I also cleaned it out . When I was ready to put it back on I couldn't find the skinny fuel line that went on the fuel pump bracket but I found the one that goes on the tank. I noticed that it had some kinda check valve made in it ,so I hoped the missing one didn't have one too. I replaced the missing line with new hose and when I got the truck started it ran good but after a few minutes gas started coming out of the charcoal container on the fire wall. Now I'm wondering is this from have the wrong hose on it , did I put the 2 hoses on the wrong metal line since they connect side by side or what. Thanks for any help. Ed

I hope you used Fuel injection Hose and the correct clamps .to handle the pressure
Sounds like it is possible you reversed the hoses
