As in, 15x7 JJ, Type C ? https://parts.lakelandtoyota.com/sho...rimLevel=18292
The ones I have are clear-coated aluminum. Yours are the first painted ones I've seen (well, clear coat is paint, isn't it?)

I have the Type 9 "Wheel Hub Ornament." https://parts.lakelandtoyota.com/sho...rimLevel=18292 I was able to get a close match (different "Type") from a salvage yard.

appears to be the stock alloy wheel from 2nd gen 4runners (1990-1995). the 1st gen 4runner (1984-1989) had a stock alloy wheel that looked similar, but had a different offset. the center caps do not interchange between wheelsets. get caps from a 2nd gen.

Seriously??? I just bought a set of alloys on craigslist from a 91. I have manual hubs so I need to replace the front caps with the open caps which are much more rare probably because there weren't many 2nd gens with manual hubs.

Don't quote me on this, but I think you can take a close one and remove the center of it to fit the hub. I remember somebody did it using small drills and those porting kits:

but I can't find the thread.

That's my next step. Even if I can find the caps I don't want to spend more on them than I spent on the wheels.

They want $100 for a pair on Lakeland Toyota. Holy hell!

I found some hubcaps from a local pick and pull. I cut out the center with a hole saw from harbor freight (Item #69073), which can usually be bought for about $10 with a coupon.

Awesome! I actually found one at a junk yard for a couple bucks which was perfect because I only had 3 anyways. Looking at the one I bought it's gonna be no problem to just cut the opening out.

On a side note I was going back and forth on keeping the wheels own color or powedercoating them black. After seeing multiple different ones in black on this thread I now have no choice. I'm going to make them black somehow. How did you guys do it? Powder coat? Or just paint? I don't want them to chip and peel. And actually I was going to leave those spaces aluminum colored just like these. Looks sick!

I used VHT Wheel Paint SP187 gloss black paint can. It has held up for 2 years, besides some minor chipping along the edge and around the lug holes. I think that was my own fault for not painting properly. My squares are not even lined straight so that just shows how much I prepped. Personally, I think I prefer the oem alloy look, which I may go back to.

Are the manual Warn hubs taller than the Aisin ones? If I remember correctly, the DIY open center cap looked more like this:

Did you make the hole in that one?
