Hello All,

I am in need of assistance in locating an electric window regulator replacement for my 1986 4Runner, SR5, It almost rolls up to the top, but the last few gear teeth are gone, kinda like my uncles teeth.

Anyway, I cannot find a new replacement anywhere. they have them for non-vent windows, but not for my truck with vents.

Therefore, I seek your knowledge in experience on making a repair to fix what I have or what other options may be available for this fix.

Thank you....I was about to give up and look at how to "mod" what i have.
I see that the Dorman 740-044 is the only one I have see available.

I never knew there was a non-vent 4runner window.

You live and learn...hopefully.
