Finally got my Altezza Euro Tail Lights installed:

BTW I recieved a card detailing that its DOT street Legel.

Not sure, but I was told tha because there wasn't enough red in it, that it may be illegal. Not sure, but Altezza must have worried because they gave me credit card style card stating that it was DOT legel.

I've heard owners of the new RX300s are being harrassed by cops about their tails in some uptight states even though they conform to 99% of this country's standards. I think the car cops want to make it so you have to display red lenses too since right now most states all you have to have is a red bulb in place.

Looks good, I was torn between the black and carbon ones on my taco, I just installed my carbon fibers yesterday. From what Ive heard they are legal. They must be red at the back (not red bulbs) and must have a red reflector on the side which mine do and I think yours do.

They are legal if there is a visible red reflector on the inside. Those clear tails that were frosted clear were ILLEGAL. Even if they has red bulbs on the inside, it didn't matter, you needed to see a visible red reflector.
Here are the version I sell... This is customer Duke from the forum. He has since sold his runner.

Do they make that same style for a 2nd gen? I like the black look A LOT better than the standard Euro's...and on a black rig I'm sure they look even better...if anybody has a link or a price on ones for a 2nd gen I would really appreciate it!

I have the black euros on mine. I didn't get them from jason but their the exact same thing. Don't get them they suck. After awhile the glue that holds them together gives way and water leaks in. I like the look, but the quality sucks. Wish I had kept my originals.
