Cold start injector switch repair with pics

So this was pretty fun.

My cold start injector switch was busted and it was starting to get cold here in upper middle northern south Ontario. Some soldering skills required, little dexterity, some small files and decent hobby vice.
last pic I used a candle to help dry my jb weld. still holding tight, -20C last night and she fires right up.

I am suffering from power lag

Great job!! There's great satisfaction in repairing stuff that others would just throw away.

X2. Nothing to lose if it's broken already. Might as well try a fix.
what happened to cause it not to work? Did it suffer blunt force trauma?

Great job! Was it a broken wire?

BTW, I'd also like to take this opportunity to remind fellow members of one thing that is often overlooked when working with the CSI system.
The CSI timer switch gets ground from the engine block through the threads on its mounting port. If the threads are not clean, scaled or IF insulating material like Teflon tape is used, CSI timer switch would not get ground and prevent the system from working.

I used battery terminal brush to clean mine down to bare, shiny metal:

@millball yup, there really is. specially when the damn part is $160! lol
@RAD4Runner Thanks! yeah there are two brass tabs that run from the inside of the body to the connector, PO must of smashed it off some how. was tricky not shaking the soldering iron in there.
Thanks muddpigg.
