occasional passenger side noise..
1987 Toyota Pickup Sr5 Turbo Ex Cab.
268000 miles.
I am experiencing this noise. Sounds like tire noise a heavy humming? I just had new tires put on about 500 miles ago. New brakes and caliper on pass. side as well. Nothing else I can think of. Noise is intermittent. Any ideas?

My first guess is the girl sitting next to you is just happy.
My second guess is tire noise; did you get a different tread pattern with the new tires? Sometimes it's something that can't be fixed; you just get used to it (or replace the tires).
My third guess is wheel bearings. Jack up each corner and spin the tire by hand. If you can feel anything I would suspect a bearing. (Whoever installed the calipers should have noticed it, but it could easily have just come on in the last 500 miles.)
