I don't know about your model but on our first-gen 4Runner OEM brake shoes have been discontinued. I am perfectly happy with the $17/pair shoes and $16each rear cylinders from NAPA. If it would help your decision, very little braking power is provided by rear brakes; most of the braking is done by fronts.
Also, just a heads-up: I suggest you make sure you have readily-available brake cylinders or rebuild supplies and tools, just in case. If you still have the original shoes, deteriorated brake fluid, and rusted/pitted brake cylinders may cause a leak. Don`t forget Drums as well
I like the Napa Ultra Premium Line of brake parts
It seems doing the rear brakes can be an adventure at least here in the Northeast .
Don`t forget to back the adjuster off to get the drums off easier
Making sure once things are apart the adjusters are cleaned and lubed working like they should
