hey guys have a 93 pup with sbc has advanced adapters bellhousing for stock trans having issues with starter clearance hitting slave cylinder is this a common issue ? Got truck as a basket case previous owner had cut ear off starter and was rigged up tried mini starter almost fits just wondering before I cut down the mini starter mount to fit . What starters are you guys running

 

In the old days and not sure which year you are working with but Chevy really liked to use Shims for their starters. Been a long time since I messed with a Chevy so am not sure if this is a big help.
