anyway to tune a 93 Toyota to run better on10% ethanol
I have a 93 22re, and I get 19 or so MPG on the highway when running real gas, this drops off to 15mpg when using the only pump gas I can get around here which is 10% ethanol at 87 octane. Are there any tuning modifications that can be done to up the MPG with 10% ethanol.

Fuels with ethanol just have less energy in them than 100% petroleum fuels do.
You might try advancing your base timing a few degrees above standard spec, and try that as long as the engine doesn't ping.
Where I live 10% ethanol fuels are all I can get, and the two 22REs I run get 22 to 24 MPG with 31 inch tires and 4.10 gears. (manual trannies) They would do better if 100% pet. fuels were available.
How long since your rig has had a comprehensive tuneup??
