Supra swap question

I am contemplating swapping in the 2jz in my 2nd gen 4runner. Anyone know of any issues with the swap. I am thinking of swapping 2jz-ge instead of the 2jz-gte instead of it being 1800 cheaper. Anyone know if its hard to convert he ge to a turbon later on when I get more money. Any hints, suggestions, guides?

if you are serious about putting in a new motor just do the 7m series, the 2jzs are so much more expensive. yea you can do alot higher numbers with a 2jz but its a truck not a sports car. 350hp isnt that hard out of a basically stock 7mgte setup. Also, i hope you are very familiar with basic engine mechanic work, its not an easy task.

i hope to have mine motor running in a couple of weeks, i pulled the V6 out in november. yea alot of time was wasted between then and now, but projects of this scale tend to take about 3X as long as you expect
