how hard is it to go back to a 22re from a 22rte

just purchased 85 4 runner motor runs ok turbo is tamperd with missing lots of parts sprays oil all over I dont think it is stock not sure wear to begin was thinking replacing motor with stock one what would i need to do will computer still work things like that

Get the ECU and engine harness with the engine you buy .

That makes things much easier

Non turbo gauge cluster too. I would buy a good turbo rebuild kit and start from there. They aren't too difficult to rebuild, just watch the process on Youtube. It's real simple.
