new lift / tires / bumper -- what order?

Hey all,

I'm planning to replace the factory suspension on a 3rd gen ( with OME stuff), and worn out stock 265 70R16 tires ( with 265 75R16's), and possibly add a TJM bumper at the same time...

Any recommendations as to what order to do this in?

i.e., replace suspension & tires at same time, get balancing
or
replace suspension, drive around a while, then replace tires & balance

Most likely the bumper will go on months from now if I can cough up the $$...hehe... priority stuff is the suspension and tires first..

etc...

Saw a thread on this months ago but couldn't call it up...

Any advice would be appreciated...

Replace the suspension.
Then after awhile when you start thinking about tires, you'll say, "hmmm, it's not quite high enough for the tires I want.".
Then go for the bumpers, as it will give you more time to think about the tires.
Then when you finally get the tires, they still won't be big enough, and you'll be back at the suspension.

Do suspension first and get your alignment, then go tire shopping. After you ˟˟˟˟˟ a brick at what you'll be paying for new tires, do the bumper before that extra cash burns a hole in your pocket. Then, since you'll be poor, you can save for the tires you really want but as Scofco said, you'll soon come to realize you need more lift anyhow and the cycle will begin anew.
