Exclamation What's up with 4wheelparts!?!!?!?

I ordered my lift from them last Saturday and they said they would ship it to my house. I called a few days later for a tracking number and the guy said he would call me back. Two days later still no call, I called again yesterday and same thing, no call back. I called the corporate number today to find out what was up. I was hung up on by one guy, xfered by another. Finally I got through to someone (Michelle), she told me the order had been picked up at the store last Saturday! She said she would call the store to see what was up, then she said she would call me back. We'll see. On top of all of this, the 4wheelparts site says it's under construction!!!! :wtf:

4WP = Teh st00pid

I would avoid going there in the future. They don't seem to know jack about anything.

Sorry for your troubles. Hope it works out.

I'll never use 4wparts- The guy tried to pawn off a useless part for my rig.

I've never had a problem with them until last week. I ordered the recovery kit that they offered from Pro-comp and they charged my card but haven't sent me any shipping info. I have to call up there tomorrow and deal with those nimrods and see what the deal is. I'm pretty pissed that they charged me and haven't given me any info as to when my stuff will be here

Talk about bad reputation.

Complaints from five people in less than an hour.

Just ridiculous!

Wow, when I first got my Runner and didn't know about the Downey coils, I went to 4WP to ask them what could fix the sag. The guy tried to sell me some ProComp 3" lift for something like 2 grand, telling me I needed this and needed that. Needless to say I rarely go there (only for wheels and tires).

4wp told me that 4runners in general are "luxury cars" and not real off-roading vehicles. they then told me no new wheel would ever fit on the 4th gens ... every question I asked, they seemed not to know the answer ... and worse than that, they would make up a bunch of b.s. to make themselves look knowledgeable ...

if you have a chance in the future, avoid them ... they don't care about toyotas/4runners and know even less about them.

My buddy and I will be going there tomorrow to see what's up. I've been told I should call my bank to reverse payment. Doubt that will work though, it's been 5 to 6 days. We'll see.

4wp comes off to me as a company that mainly caters to people who drive pavement pounders and show trucks. when i went there recently to compare tire prices, the guy tried to recomment thornbirds! i mean, come on!

The only thing I'd buy at 4WP is tires. No one has as good a deal on Swampers & Boggers. But I won't let them order them in, if they don't have them in stock, I'll go somewhere else.

Cancel your order and find another place to get you your parts, 4WPs is just over priced and they don't know squat. I've called a few times, and everytime I have been asked why are you trying to make your Runner into and offroad rig. I dunno maybe becuase it's my money and if you don't want it then I'll just go somewhere else that knows what they're talking about. I'll see you on the trails, just don't ask me to pull you out.

They pretty much suck. The only thing I like about them is the free Off Road Adventure mag I get once a month. I did get a good deal on my Detroit with them, but they got me a 4cyl one on the first try.
If you dont know exactly what you want-dont go there with a yota. That is my rule.

We'll see what happens. I'd hate to have to cancell my order, I do feel that I got a good deal. I paid $1,100 for a Pro Comp Stage 2 lift front and rear. I didn't want the Pro Comp shocks so I ordered the Rancho RS9000x. I'll be getting 8 shocks and the lift kit. I'll sell the Pro Comp Shocks.

You mean the Pro Comp Shocks? They'll fit. Make an offer, if it's enough to cover a 3 inch body lift we may have a deal.
