3.4 Swap wont start

So.....

I just finished a 3.4 swap into a 92 4 runner that had a 3.0. The truck will crank but wont run. I had toyonlyswaps do the wiring harness. I tried to call them to see if they included the wiring for the fuel pump COR but no body answered. From what i have read the COR has to be wired from the body harness to the Fc on the ECU. Has anyone used this harness or know any info. Or am i not on the right track with the COR.

Any feedback would be appreciated

Thanks

Pretty hard to second guess just how they built the harness.

Does there harness come with a schematic for trouble shooting ??

Just what year engine harness are you using??

The harness didnt come with any documentation unfortunately.

The recipient is a 92 4x4 3.0 4runner M/T

Donor is a 00 4runner 4x4 A/T

I am using the A/T engine harness that was originally on the 3.4 motor. I got a package deal on the motor. Everything that came off the recipient to make the motor go was included.

Has the MIL tripped at all??

About the only thing you can do is get a copy of the EWD`s for both years and go one circuit at a time.

I understand some people can`t build there own harness but now you have no clue where to even look

Who can say a wire in the wrong place is all it might take

What is the MIL?

I already have all the EWD from techinfo. At the time i didnt want to build my own harness because i didnt have time and i really didnt want to blow my ECU up. Im an electrician by trade and i understand electricity pretty well.

Today i did some poking around with my multi meter. First i pulled a plug grounded and cranked. No spark. I tested the Black Red wire at the coil pack and had 12 volts. I read online that @ the igniter i should have .1-4.5 volts @ IGT1, IGT2, and IGT3 from ECU to igniter. I do not have those reading, Im showing 0volts. The forum that i was reading said to replace the ECU if this happens. I dont want to start replacing parts on a hunch i need to test more just unsure of how to test the ecu.

MIl= Malfunction Indicator Light

If it is on the codes will point you in the right direction

It would only take one wire to be in the wrong spot to cause this grief.

You do have the ECM ground attached and made sure it is clean and tight ??

Air intake on and tight ??

You would not be the first that drained the fuel tank and forget to dump any in

I talked to toyonlyswaps today and they said it may be the anti theft system. I dont have the key amplifier or the key so i may have to buy a new ECU without the alarm system
