Well, i went ahead and blew a huge fat hole in my wallet

I ordered a 2.6 stroker 22re from TCR and it is currently being assembled! They said they will need me to drop off my 4runner sometime towards the end of next week. I am soooo excited. My 4runner has taken a turn for the worse over the past few months and is slowly dying. I just hope she makes it down to Tuscon without blowing my engine! But once i get her back its gonna be a whole different story!

 

Sorry, I don't know that much about the 22r's. How much extra power is that gonna give you?

 

unfortunately not a ton, but considering my worn out 22re is probably cranking around 100hp the new engine will push at least 140hp, and up to about 165hp with other things. the bigger gain is mostly in the torque, which will go from about 115ft/lbs to 170-180ft/lbs. but I have plenty of tweaking to do after it is installed .
