3 small alternator wires

94 pick-up 22re. Parasitic drain, think it may be the alternator. Had this problem before and got it sorted out for awhile now it's back again.

Can someone tell me the order the three small wires on the back of the alternator should be in if you are looking at the back of the alternator? Mine is currently yellow, white, red.

Red face

top is white

this looking at the plug in the alternator

Every Toyota Alternator with the 3 wire plug is wired the same

Toyota schematics always show plugs disconnected facing you

I guess there is a difference what alternator is in the vehicle one looks at .

The 94 that is here now has a round plug go figure .

I wonder just when did the plugs change was it a mid year change ??

I am glad the alternator works
