questions about clutch release fork

I am doing the clutch on my 95 3.0 4Runner.

1.) Is it possible to source a new retaining clip for the release arm (fork)? My current one looks fine but I can't find a new clip anywhere.

2.) I found a genuine Toyota clutch fork and retaining clip on ebay for $15 but it doesn't list 3.0 as compatible. I've read here ( https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f160...g-info-270755/ ) that they are interchangeable. Can anyone confirm this? I don't mind spending the $15 for a new one if I know it will fit. For some reason the ones specified for 3.0's are 2-3 times the price.

3.) Is there any issue with just reusing the current clip?

Are you talking about the clip that holds the fork to the ball on the bell housing ??

The clip that holds the bearing to the fork??

Over the years I think I have reused both

Although I have a bad habit of losing things like that

As to if they interchange I have never had the two side by side to compare

I am referring to the clip that holds the fork to the pivot ball inside the bell housing.

I ended up ordering the part for $15.

I imagine if it doesn't work I can probably at least use the clip. I went to Toyota dealer and they also only sell the clip with the new fork and wanted 50 for it.=/

Thanks for the response.
