I took the pictured power steering pump off of my 1980 toyota 4x4 pickup and I cant find a replacement for it. all the pumps I've seen that are supposed to fit my truck don't look anything like this and don't fit into the cradle on the side of the motor. any ideas?

I don't believe that is a stock pump - or at least I have never seen a Toyota pump that looks like that. Perhaps it didn't come with power steering and that is an aftermarket pump. Your best bet may be to find a whole power steering system from a junk yard and snag everything from the pump bracket to the steering box off of it.
