In need of a good condition piston & rod "right side" for a 93 4runner project i am working on. Bought the 4runner with a broken rod but still good running engine. Had all intentions of doing another 3.4L conversion,but got into it and appears the short block has been replaced. Would like to put some time,money and effort into it to see if it's eventual candidate for a 3.4L conversion.

 

I would but don't really have any of the parts engines tore down that far. Kind of hate to open one up till I have a interested party in the heads and such.

Have you checked ebay? Worst case (best case? lol) a new piston could be an option.
