E brake 93 pickup

My e brake is getting harder and harder to pull. What could it be and what do I need to do to fix

It could be any of the moving parts.

Disconnect the cable at the intermediate lever See if the front cable pulls smooth and free.

It can be at the Intermediate lever

In the back it could be the pivot point seized up or the bell cranks.

It might even be the linkage inside the brake drum.

Might be the cable is about to break

Your not getting any hot burning brakes are you ??
