I have a 88 pick up 22re 5spd and I would like to but a twin stick case into my truck so I can run 2lo. is this possible? if so what is involved?

part 2 of that is I would like to run a 4.7 gear in the case. do the older twin stick cases accept the 4.7 gear swap?

 

What transfer case are you currently running? Forward or top shift? Gear or chain driven? If you know the response to the above questions it will help you a lot.

 

it is a top shift. shy of that I do not know anything else about it. I have looked for ID markers on it but I can not find anything.

 

if it is a top shift you can run twin sticks

you will need to pull your transfer case to do the install
