My truck has 355,000 miles on it and is usually dead reliable. Today I went on a highway drive and noticed that the overdrive wasn't functioning. Later I discovered that the wipers weren't working either. This sounds to me like a fuse (???) but if it is: which one and where?

 

I checked the fusebox under the hood and found no bad fuses. Could the problem be with a "fusible link" somewhere?
