Hello everyone. New to the forum. I have a 94 4runner. 3vze motor, auto, 4wd. I recently did a motor/trans/tcase swap because i picked this truck up as a project and the motor was trash. After the swap im working out a few bugs, the biggest pita right now is the 4wd shifter and its two linkages. Under the truck there is the lower linkage which goes into the rod and is held in with a small cotter pin. The upper rod has a slotted hole and you place a nut on and tighten it down. Ive moved it every possible mm in that slot and i can not get all my gears (2Hi/4Hi/4Lo) to engage and work properly. Ill get 2hi and 4hi to work and no 4lo. Or vise versa. Can someone help me fix this!!! The boot on the horseshoe where the rods connect is destroyed, im looking for the part number for that as well. Any and all help ia greatly appreciated.
