supercharger disable

Hello all!,

I hate taking my vehicle in for service for when the service guys see the boost gauge/supercharger, they just take their liberty after service and take it for a "test drive". Remember the two parking attendents from the movie " Ferris Bueller's day off" come to mind.

Is there any way to disable it other than taking the belt off the charger??

thanks for any suggestions..

BJ

Just what type of service are you taking it for??

Just where ??

Would the test Drive be part of the job ??

In this day and age unless you live out in the middle of no Where Why would anyone take the risk.

Any of my Techs back in the day did something so stupid and the car got away with just minor damage.

I would have been living in a box under the bridge ..

Depends just what set up you have but pulling the belt is about the only way

I reckon that you could install a hidden camera, and if it showed anything untoward, you would not have too much trouble getting the shop/dealer to make it right.
