Frame swap compatibility

I have an 88 Toyota pickup 22re, standard cab with short box. I might be looking into doing a frame swap. I was just wondering if 89+ frames would bolt up with little or no mods. Or would frames would be the closet fit if I could find a 86-88 frame. Thanks

The size of the xcab were different so i think if you found a single cab frame it would work. Body mounts may be in different places aswell but i dont think so

If I couldn't find a 86-88 frame I wanted to find the closet one I could for a direct fit. Mine can still be fixed far as I know of, but I I could find a decent new I wanted to clean paint and get as much rust out of it a just swap I wouldn't have to worry about if for while. Being in the Northeast here the winters and salt definitely aren't nice to our yotas.

The 89+ body mounting holes are bigger. But AFAIK they're all in the same place.
