I just put a superlift on my 1988 4Runner. Running 36 Iroks on old school Weld 15x10. No issues. Easy install. I like the way the a-arm drop brackets are one piece vs the bolt together pro comp version.

The best lift for IFS is No lift! I've only heard of and seen problems when you lift ifs rigs. Good luck with whatever you decide to do though!

I would kind of have to agree with Yotafarts89. Great name by the way. I did some tinkering to the back end of my 89 4Runner to level it out. Put some shackles and add a leafs in to pick it up some and ended up with it leaning down in the front. I got bored and installed some 1.5" ball joint spacers in the front to level it back out. It looks good now and it will easily handle 33s but when I was putting the spacers in, I could sure tell that the cv axles didn't really agree with my lift. Yea, they lined up and everything seems to be ok but the front lift I bought was advertised as a 2" and from a lot of experience in lifting trucks, I knew that mine was going to have some real limitations off road. I'd just be real careful lifting an IFS if you want to do any real off-roading and be sure you lower your front differential if you pick it up any more than about 2" in the front. I'm sure most of the more expensive, bigger lifts take all of this into account. I just don't have any experience in picking up an older IFS that much.
