Using a Lincoln Air Compressor for On Board air
Hi,
I pulled an air ride compressor from a lincoln town car (99 I believe).
I'm wanting to use it for airing up tires (after airing down) and the like, however I have no idea what adapter I need to connect the hard line (quick connect/disconnect) that comes out of the air compressor tank so that I can connect to a tire chuck or air blower.
Oddly enough, this info isn't very easy to find and I'm usually pretty good about finding whatever I need on google or forums. Any ideas?

Minitruckers used to use the old lincoln and caddy compressors for cheap air bag setups way back when. Might be able to find some info from them.
Also, post up a pic of the compressor and fitting. Someone light be able to tell you by looking at it.

is it a threaded fitting ??
Just a metal line you cut off to get it out of the vehicle
Pictures would be a great help.
Be Aware this might not really work for what you want .
Unless you don`t mind taking an hour maybe longer to air up 4 tires
What size tank are you planning to use ??
Interesting project

Here's a picture of the air pump and the line. I will look at optimal size tanks later, maybe around a gallon should be enough?
A while back I was in Utah and took some back roads around Goblin Valley, and the ride was bad since I couldn't air down the tires (no way to air them back up), so I cut the drive short because i couldn't stand it anymore
So i thought it'd be interesting and fun (and add a useful item), but didn't think too far ahead
Maybe most important is finding out the pressure specs of this pump (not very useful if it can't pump much over 50 psi right?
I'll look into the minitruckers (no idea what that is) and their setups next chance I get
