I am the owner of a 1979 Toyota 4WD, I'm trying to find all original parts for this rare gem of mine. If anyone can assist me with websites or know of someone who has parts that would fit this truck, I'm mainly looking for an original front bumper( or measurements of an original to get one remade) and a heat shield that fit the original exhaust manifold. Thank you guys so much!

 

I wouldn't worry about the original heat shield over the exhaust manifold...all that will do is hold in the heat and end up cracking that manifold

If you still want an original exhaust manifold cover I have one.

 

I found a website that has tuns stock parts just Google toyota overstock parts

 

The website is called Lakeland toyota overstock parts

 

they'll show a price for bumper until you try to order it. I finally found one from an individual. I have part #. the 2wd will sorta fit, but rubs the front fenders(i did this first) they still make the 2wd aftermarket. if you find a 4wd bumper there is also a thin filler panel behind it.
