Hey y'all, new here, not to rigs or wheeling. Have had my 85 for about 5 months, put on new head, had sucked a valve. Shortly after, it started burning about 3 quarts a week. Sea foamed the intake no change. Sea foam in the oil seems to have helped a little. Checked compression today-160-170 all through. 129k miles. Any ideas?

 

burning three quarts a week(!) would mean huge clouds of blue smoke.

is that what you are seeing?

 

No that's the weird thing. Nothing makes sense!

 

Very minimal smoke, no leaks.
