Whole lota lift

Simple question, I have a 95 runner 3 inch body and 5 inch suspension lift. Its on its home stretch to road worthy. As a matter of fact im pretty much done... except while looking it over, I saw my front sway bar links bent and one of the brackets missing a bolt... which just had it flopping there. Before I realized this, I took it on the highway and didnt seem to matter... so my question would be, should I just leave it off or repair it due to it being lifted as high as it is?

I'm not as tall as you. But I ditched my sway bar 8-9 yrs ago and haven't regretted it.

But guess the proper answer is it depends on driving style. But regardless 8" of lift is not a sport car.

I'd say with that much lift a swaybar is probably smarter to have functioning in case you really have to swerve. Go try a curvy road. You can always use quick disconnects if you want to switch back and forth.

you will need to extend the swaybar links.
don't run a sway bar only connected on one side.

Muddpigg is correct, don't expect to take corners fast, you will flop
