87 Toyota pickup has a Weber 32/36 carb.. while replacing valve cover gasket I had to take off tv/throttle cable from the valve cover and lay them aside to get the valve cover off.. when I put the valve cover back on and put the tv/throttle cable back on my shifting changed some how.. now it doesn't shift smooth and holds the gears WAY too long.. what did I do? how do I correct this? I am not a mechanic and am learning as I go.. can't afford a mechanic as I am a Disabled Vet who gets so very little money to live on as it is. Any good help would be GREATLY appreciated.
