Brake issue after sitting for long period

So I just finished 100% de-smog and replacing rear main seal, and bunch f other wire issues and it runs great and no leaks anymore haha but....

When I took her for a drive and I hit my breaks my pedal was jumping up and down pretty violently... It sent away after about two drives around my neighborhood but my rear brakes are sticking really badly now why??

About 2 months ago I had to replace seals and bearing in rear axel and I replaced drums, shoes, hardware, those little brake cylinders and fluid and it was doing great after adjustments.

Why would my rear brakes be sticking to point of burnt break smell after sitting for a month?

Are you up in northern California? Water/moisture can get into the brake parts or the parking brake cable and freeze causing the brakes to stick. Also, just simple surface rust can make parts stiff and sticky so they don't want to retract completely.

Nkt super north only 40 minutes above sac... I got everything adjusted and genuine Toyota bearings and seals and replace drums, pads, hardware and brake cylinders and put maybe 200 miles before sitting for about a month when i pulled engine.

I'll take the rear apart this weekend just curious if anyone had any similar conditions

I had a booster that just went bad over night and would apply the brakes when I got at higher rpms. Not sure if a booster could apply the rear brakes or not.
