I went back and checked the wording.....no mention of " to the original purchaser......it states a warranty to the original vehicle installed. So why will they not honor any airflift bag? Strange....

andard limited lifetime air spring warranty— no mileage restriction! Air Lift Company warrants that Air Lift 1000, RideControl, LoadLifter 5000, LoadLifter 5000 ULTIMATE and AirCell air springs systems will be free from defects in workmanship or materials for the lifetime of the vehicle of original installation. This does not include installation or other service charges for replacement.

Well....a simple email may save me about 70 bucks because the customer rep i emailed claims they are under warranty. She actually wanted to know who told me they were not under warranty. I 'll call tomorrow for a return auth number and keep you all up to date.

You have to return them to the dealer or online spot you purchased them from.
What exactly do you mean by this? It sort of reads to me like you can return them, you just need to return them to who you bought them from. I realize that if you bought the vehicle used with them already in there, that could be a problem, but warranties are often non-transferable. I think it's pretty common for a company to honor the warranty, but under the condition that you go through the business you bought them from. Even if it's a bit annoying.

Glad you're getting it worked out though! I just put Firestone airbags on my truck, but the way I installed them automatically voided my warranty, so I'm out of luck no matter what, if I ever have issues...

Here's the explanation:
1- Airlift DOES warranty their bags as stated in their warranty...lifetime / unlimited mileage
2- when calling them, make sure you specify you need to make a warranty claim not a return claim. There is a difference hence the confusion.
3 - you will not have to ship your bad bags back, they will go over a few questions with you regarding vehicle make, age and air pressure used.
4 - the new bags will cost you 20.00 shipping maybe less depending on where you live.

Great news and thanks Airlift ! Saved me 60 bucks and i have a set in stock ready to install. Anyone who has a set in their runner knows how important they are in leveling the sagging rear end, reducing body roll and carrying your peeps and gear around. I love em !
