howdy fellow toyers, ill try to keep this short and simple and minimize unnecessary info. i have a 92 deluxe toyota 4x4, ive recently aquired a 92 lexus 400, the lesser of the 400's. my finances are not going to be easy and im doing this cuz a "friend" recommended it, he happen to also be the one sitting on the motor. anyway, i will have to be doing this between a pair of trees with a cumalong and as far as i know things i have to deal with so far is changing the exhaust, motormounts, brain, wiring harness, and bell housing? ive owned this truck since 96, its my baby and it was stolen around 03, i got it back and less than a month later the vze blew. time for my attempt at rebuilding a motor. i could have picked something easier, lol. it only lasted so long, i didnt do a great job on the exhaust. two more attemps at this on different 6's later, with semi-but limited time effect, my trruck has been sittin for 10+ years. well, here i sit on this engine swap, gna have to figure out how to borrow a welder during this, and aquire the first mentioned parts. sorry for the pity story, additionally i have limited internet access, nothing about this looks easy and dont have a lot of time to search and read tons of examples of information that may or may not apply. so for all you experienced, been there done that people, any an all direct advice you can throw at me please do, ill be collecting it here and there, but i want my baby back!! i dont think itll be easy, but i hope when its all said and done, ill be pretty damn happy about the results.

Not that is that hard but it has been 10 years so I would guess you have no real time limits.

Doing something like this outside is going to be so very frustrating.

You pretty much have got the major issues mentioned.

Wiring the ECM from this engine to your cab will be the most time consuming .

Hint get the Wiring Diagrams from both vehicles.
