So I have removed the headlight relay from my 81 4x4 parts truck I am wiring it into my farm truck (80 Chev) I have never wired a 3 pin relay before and wanted to confirm that the signal wire should be switched to ground rather than back to its self as with a 4 pin. Also since the Toyota relay is mounted with the auxiliary light relay. I was thinking of wiring it so that high beams run through the headlight relay and the low beams run through the auxiliary relay but I am not sure how many watts the auxiliary can handle.
