Toyota gremlins 3.0 issue.

Here's what has been done.

New spark plugs
New Distributer and cap
Spark plugs are fine.
New fuel.
Flame thrower Injectors

Here's the back story. 10 months back my 93 blew headgasket. Long behold. I finally got around to replacing it. Swapped in a good block from 91 4 runner. Have had this run once ran bogged down. Timing was off.
(Hoses on passenger side were mixed up) timing was off at this point. So in essence we look up diagrams of the hoses got that figured out. timing is good.

There is spark. And there is fuel going to engine. Tries to turn over but won't start. Alternator and starter are fine. All connections are accounted for. Been staring at this problem for few days now and I'm at a loss.

This is probably just a noob response, but I discovered that these things won't start at all if the air induction system is interrupted. It has to go through the mass air flow sensor or it just cranks and sputters.

It took me a new set of injectors to realize this, but what the heck, I needed them anyway.

Vmaf is connected. Maybe I'm not understanding your respone. These injectors only have 3000k miles on them and worked perfectly before . There isnt any leaks with the injectors. I do have the original set that came with the block. But doesn't seem plausible or needed to swap then over

mine also had one on driverside that was from the coil area to head, followed the coil wire. i had one fry and wouldn't run. i had to replace it to get the 4runner home. thats what made me think of it, if im also not mistaken u should have one from battery to motor mount area that was a larger in size.
