Where can i get Window Control Module Relay 85980-89101
I only see one on ebay fro 130 bucks and its used.
Is there a schismatic to build a new one?
Can any other one be used if i change the pin wiring?
I can get the windows to work if i jump the blue wire.( I will fuse it if i have to do that) But the power locks are boned. I bought a key less entry off amazon so if i cant get the module replaced I will install that. But before I start cutting wires, I would like to see if i can buy one and how muck it would be. its for a 1986 sr5 2wd 2 door extended cab.
Can any one point me in the right direction or have a spar they want to sale?
The only "hard" thing the door lock computer does is switch the polarity to the lock motors (so the motors run in opposite directions to lock or unlock). And to do that, all you need is a pair of run-of-the-mill SPDT relays. Like https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...lay/1667/3844/ (this is much bigger than you need, but very easy to get, very standard, and very cheap). You'll lose the ability to just lock/unlock the driver's door, for instance, but it will make the door locks work reliably.
Im thinking that Don't know where you got that diagram, But it does help. Im thinking i want to go with key-less entry. I bought this Car Remote Central Lock Locking Keyless Entry System with Remote Controllers But I'm think will i still be able to add an alarm or should I just buy an alarm with key less entry?
I can always add it later too. But I don't know what kind of Power locks I have now. They are the one that came with the truck Factory power locks and windows.
but this is what i am trying to figure out. Is it Fig
A,B,C,D or E? Im thinking its C.
Have uh, fun, installing it. The instructions were translated from Chinese to, well, whatever it was it wasn't English.
OBMI: you do need to polish off your punctuation and use some of it your posts. I'm having trouble following what you're saying.
The keyless entry will NOT replace your now-nonfunctional locking controller. You still need those two spdt relays shown in your first picture. You can do without all the timers. Once you have them set up to to apply the (reversible) voltage to your lock motors (your picture says solenoids; they'll work the same) your keyless entry can trigger it (and you can pick positive or negative trigger since you're building the replacement locking controller; I'd stick with negative trigger to match Toyota).
If it were my truck, and I had a locking controller full of water, I'd start by identifying the two wires that go to the door lock solenoid. Then using a source of 12v and ground, and a pair of alligator clip jumpers, I'd see if I could still lock and unlock the doors by reversing the wires. If you can, you're 70% there!
