I've searched here and but found nothing solid - wondering if any interior parts from 2nd gen 4runners will work with my 89 3VZE 4runner sr5 v6 . Mostly interested in console and auto shifter unit. any help would be much appreciated!

 

They are not direct fit but are easily customized to work if you are creative with a dremel or similar hand tools. Rear seats i believe are not direct swap either.

When the oem steering wheel, (i have a 91 in my 88) is a little different. I had to pry out the original's brass contact ring and double them up so the horn would work.

With seats it also is easier to only swap cushions if that's all you need.
