I have a weird situation that when I rev the engine up to 3,000 rpm (moving or standing still), the check brake light comes on once I a while. I replaced the master cylinder and bled the system 2 years ago and this issue popped up last week. Anyone experienced this? Thanks

 

When you have the engine off and you turn the key on, does the battery light come on? To me, its sounds like your charging system but maybe your battery light is burned out or not working.

 

Checked it with ignition on and engine not running, check brake , engine , battery and oil lights all light up.

 

Check your brake fluid level !!

As the front pads wear the fluid level drops.

This help me too, thank you, my "brake light" would turn on when I accelerate or braking, but also found out that my front rotors are warped too.

 

any problems with the braking? wheel sensor on the rear diff good?
