Radiator fan
So I'm driving back to Florida from va, in sc my radiator fan normally shuts off after a while. Now it's loud and running constantly. Should I be worried? Checked fluids everything is good, temp is fine.. Ideas?

August 1 South Carolina been driving how many hours
It is now 97 Degrees F at Fort Jackson.
Now do you think the fan clutch should be engaged.
Granted if it was a comfortable 10 degrees F and it was locked in you might have a problem
When driving long distances every thing gets heat soaked the cooling system works harder to keep things cool.
Engines can start to drink oil as well even those that most times don`t use any.

Yeah I was driving for around 6 hours..
Just wanted to make sure if it ran constantly it wouldn't screw anything else up, or rather it was a symptom for something else.
I suppose as long as the temp reads cool it'll be fine. Thought I'd ask anyway

Header
Thanks
yes she’s once again running cool as a cucumber even pulling these long twisty hills in the ozarks. At ease at last. Not gonna do the header based on everyone’s input. Not worth what I would gain. I already get loads of smiles from the opposite sex and a louder Yoda wouldn’t be heard above the cocoughphony of Harleys here in eureka anyhow. Instead I’ll continue to finish my solar and get off the grid before there is no grid! The torsion bar adjustment along with new front shocks and stabilize bar bushings has made a vast improvement. With low center of gravity and dual wheels she corners at 55 or 6o surprisingly well and now way better. Going to replace the fuel pump and possibly regulator in next couple days . I am only getting around 38 psi at the cold start and can tell she needs more under loads. When you cannot get to the top of a long windy driveway and have to back down in the dark while on marbles , that’s how I know fuel delivery is compromised as well as my pride. I made 5 attempts that night each time almost cresting the summit but coming to a stop. Even tried advancing timing and did some bailing of weight, . Still had to test my abilities backwards, ebrake engaged in neutral and managed not to go off the drivers side bank into the abyss.
Never again will I bring a date to the lake via that access . It took me all of the next day to figure out it was regulator and finally made the summit the next afternoon
