1986 Toyota pickup 4x4 22re won't fire getting fuel fire stops at coil

Got a flat sat a week got new tire ride on it about an hour rode great. Parked at a friends house for hour or so left while heading home (still running fine) it just died. Still had all lights. While rolling I tried Start it back just turned over. When stopped I made sure I was getting fuel I was all fuses were ok. Got pulled home check see if I was getting fire was not checked coil no fire checked the module had a hot wire replaced my coil still nothing. What could it be? I'm at loss

Run out of gas ??

Just how can you be sure your getting fuel??

So when checking for spark at the plugs you got nothing??

Coil wire fall off or pull out enough to no longer make contact??

To check your getting fuel your gonna need another person. first place I would check is at the fuel filter, pull the incoming line off the fuel filter and get the other person to turn the key to start the truck, if you have fuel coming out of the line thyen you can say your sending unit is good. Put the line back on and go to the out side of you filter and redo the same thing. I would do that as far as I oucld with every part that is inline all the way to where it goes to the engine. Its a simple but time consuming process but it works.
